Germany vs Portugal; Germany target three points. Germany National Team will start their journey in Euro 2012 Poland-Ukraine with playing against Portugal National Team in the first match day of Group B in order that they are more confident when facing Netherlands National Team.

Germany vs Portugal match will be held today, Saturday, June 9 2012 in Arena Lviv, Lviv. The match is repetition of Euro 2008 quarter-finals match and Germany defeated Netherlands with score 3-2 at that time.

Germany, indeed, need good result in order to make their way to pass the deadly group easier. If they lose in the match, Germany squad will be in difficult condition considering they have to fight against Netherlands and Denmark later. Especially for facing Netherlands on 13 June 2012, bad result in the first match will make Germany have more pressure.

‘Making good start is important because you must avoid suppressed situation in match against Netherlands,’ said Germany forward, Thomas Mueller as reported ESPN Star.

‘We do not want to play against Netherlands, a team who became runner-up in World Cup, with bad condition and nervous which may be able to make us fail to quarter-finals.’

‘You just have three match in group stage and the three opponents are really great. So you must not got bad result.’ Said the Bayern Munchen forward.

Whereas the other match of Group B,  Netherlands will start their journey with facing Denmark in Metalist Stadium, Kharkiv before Germany match.
