Raul wants Spain to establish a new history. So far in Euro history, there is not a team which can hold the title of Europe king more than one in a row since 1960. Spain were the last emperor of the biggest Europe football event after they won Euro 2008, and are also believed that they can be the first nation to establish the record.

Germany are the most successful team with winning three times, but they got the titles were not in a short range time. They got the trophy in 1972, 1980, and 1996.

And now there is a team that can surprase Germany’s achievment and it is the last emperor, Spain, which became the favorite team in Euro 2012. Spain are possible to achieve it because in last four years they dominated football in the world.

After winning the trophy in Austria-Switzerland, Spain continued their success in World Cup 2010 in South Africa. They won their first title in the biggest world football event. And Spain have ambition to achieve the record.

But the step to realize it is not easy, besides their two main players, David Villa and Carles Puyol would not participate because of injury. The opponets are also starting to find the antidote of Spain’s playing style. And Germany, Netherlands, and France are three  of teams that will burry Spain’s ambition.

Although it is difficult, but Raul, a senior player of La Furia Roja, hopes that the Spain squad can achieve that to keep Spain’s glory in football era.

‘It will be difficult for Spain in this Euro,’ said Raul in Soccernet.

‘In history there is not team that can be Euro champion, World Cup champion, and then become Euro champion again. I want to Spain create a new history, but they know that will be many obstacles, especially from Germany, Netherlands, and France.’ Ended Raul.
